Local Businesses host an event to share what services they offer to the community.

Business After Hours (BAH) Guidelines

 

Thank you for your interest in hosting a Business After Hours (BAH). Sponsorship of this event offers you an excellent opportunity to promote your business while Chamber

members meet and network with one another in a relaxed environment.

 

As host, you’ll be responsible for any food and/or beverages served at the event. Attendance average is between 15-30 guests (both members and prospective members). The chamber will provide $100 towards the cost of the event.

Buddy Up – consider “buddying up” with another chamber business. You provide the venue they provide the food and/or beverages. Promote both businesses and make it a win/win.

 

The scheduled time for business after hours is 5:30-7:30 PM. Please make sure to let us know if you want to change the time or length of your event.

 

You will have an opportunity to speak to the attendees about 30 minutes into the event. You are encouraged to give up to a 5-minute presentation about your company. We will also draw the winner of any door prize you have provided at this time.

Please have your event details planned at least 4 weeks in advance. This will give the Chamber time to publicize your event to the maximum. Send your event details to us at winnebagochamber@gmail.com. We’ll promote your event on our Facebook Page and through our Email Newsletter as well as listing your event on our website.

Last but not least, promote yourself! This is your time to shine! Share with the group what makes your business unique or launch a new service or item. If appropriate, show them around the business/facility or give a demonstration. Be creative with the theme, you could have a fun trivia quiz, a food drive for a local food pantry or you could bring in some local musical talent. Make this event your own and have fun!
